On my first mission trip to Haiti (August 23 – August 28, 2017), I was blessed to share my love of dance with the children in Montrouis, Haiti. Even though these precious little people lived in orphanages, they shared their infectious zest for life.
I originally thought my trip was about was teaching ballet and passing out food and water. But I soon realized that it was so much bigger than that. These eager and enthusiastic children reminded me about how blessed I am and the indomitable human spirit.
